SITP rules and policies you need to know about

This year as every year, Saturday in the Park has a number of policies and security rules in place that attendees should be aware of. Security officers will be on hand at each entrance to ensure that attendees follow these rules.

Please bring your belongings in clear bags to the park. Please avoid bringing backpacks, large purses and other large bags. Much like most concert and sports venues nationwide, only clear bags will be allowed in the park.

No coolers of any size or type are allowed in Grandview Park. Additionally, outside food and drinks, including beer, liquor or other alcohol drinks, and soft drinks, are not allowed.

No pets – including dogs, cats, snakes or otherwise  – are allowed.

Fireworks, guns, and other weapons are not allowed in the park as well. Tents are not allowed, but blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.

What is allowed? Music fans of all shapes and sizes, plenty of sunscreen, cell phones, cameras, cash, good friends and a willingness to dance and cheer for your favorite bands.

You can set up your chairs in the park at any time. The National Anthem is scheduled for 5 PM on Friday, July 2, and 2 PM on Saturday, July 3, and the music starts immediately thereafter both days.

Fireworks close the show on Saturday night.
