The annual event marks 28 years this July, and will again bring big names to Iowa’s best free music festival. Performers will be announced this spring.
This day of music, arts and fun will take over Grandview Park, 24th and Grandview streets in Sioux City, from noon to 10:30 p.m.
The 2017 festival featured headliners Joss Stone, Trombone Shorty, Brother Ali and many more, and attracted more than 20,000 music fans to two stages of music.
The Saturday in the Park Festival was founded in 1991 by Dave Bernstein and Adam Feiges. This free music festival draws tens of thousands of people to Sioux City each July 4th weekend. The event has grown through the years, and is almost entirely volunteer driven and community sponsored.
