John Fogerty, a prolific songwriter and former member of the band Creedence Clearwater Revival, and indie-pop trio AJR, made up of three New York brothers, will headline Saturday in the Park on two different nights – July 2 and 3.
The annual festival will begin Friday, July 2, with acts throughout the evening, ending with a performance by AJR, whose songs “Sober Up,” “Weak” and “Bang” have helped them build millions of fans. Read more about AJR here.
On Saturday, July 3, the event begins in the afternoon, and will be headlined that night with Fogerty, a musical force whose chops include equal parts blues, country, pop, rockabilly, R&B, swamp boogie, and Southern fried rock ‘n’ roll. Fogerty is a Grammy winner and has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Read more about Fogerty here.
More acts for both days of the two-day festival will be announced soon.
